About
Megan Rachel Taylor
I have been following my life long passion for story telling ever since I started writing novels as a kid. I had the opportunity to study Film Making at Texas Lutheran University, holding a variety of different roles in a range of projects. After graduating in 2019, I have been working mainly as a freelance film editor, as well as a script supervisor and videographer. I worked at Atmosphere TV in Austin, TX from 2022-2024 as a Video Editor Producer, heading their partnership branded channels such as McDonald's TV, Burger King TV, and Choice Hotel TV. I worked collaboratively on original content for the HAPPY TV channel, producing and writing videos weekly for the company's streaming platform and social accounts.
I have worked on a diverse array of projects, from short films, full length features, music videos, commercials, conferences, industrial, and documentaries.
My focusing lies heavily in video editing, but I am also experience in script supervising, cinematography, directing, writing, and graphic design.
I built my own costum editing computer for remote work, and am skilled in Adobe Suit and Davinci Resolve Studio. I have worked with Sony, Panasonic, Black Magic and DJI Drone footage. I have over 7 years of editing and videography experience.
I spend my free time writing, drawing and playing with my adopted rats Nimh, Circe, and Morpheus.
